TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Entries must be available for acquisition in exchange for the major prize amount of $10,000.

All entries will initially be assessed by a selection panel which will prepare a shortlist of finalists for exhibition. Entrants will be contacted by email and advised if their entry has been shortlisted. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Only an artwork selected as a finalist should be delivered for exhibition. Works that do not arrive by the notified closing date will not be hung.

Each artist whose work is selected for exhibition is responsible for their own insurance to cover the artwork during transport and while it is on exhibition.

Finalists must arrange for delivery and return of their entered work to Harden-Murrumburrah at their own expense. All artworks must be collected from the venue at the end of the exhibition on the due advertised date. Artworks will be repackaged prior to collection using their existing packing. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the artist.

All works must be presented professionally prepared for hanging and display.

A label detailing name and contact details of the artist must be fixed to the back of the artwork.

The winner of the acquisitive prize will grant Harden Art Prize Inc an exclusive, perpetual copyright licence to reproduce the work for promotional purposes.

Finalists are encouraged to attend the official opening. The winner, who is announced at the opening, will be offered $250 towards travel expenses.

If your artwork is accepted as a finalist you need to submit an Artist’s Statement of maximum 75 words.

Harden Art Prize Inc is not responsible for works not collected by the notified date at the end of the exhibition. Works that are not collected will be disposed of.

Harden Art Prize Inc reserves the right to use images and photographs of finalists’ works for promotional purposes.

In completing the entry form and paying the entry fee the entrant agrees to the Terms and Conditions of entry.
